JACKSON, Miss. – Christopher Sheriff, 27, was charged with drug possession and intent after police found an estimated $15,000 worth in street value of drugs in his possession and his home.

Marijuana, crack cocaine and pure powder cocaine, scales and $700 in cash were seized, according to the Jackson Police Department.

Sheriff was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent and possession of marijuana with intent.

This wasn’t his first run-in with the law.

At the time of his arrest, Sheriff was on probation for manslaughter and possession of cocaine. He also faces pending indictments on three counts: two for aggravated assault on an officer and one for fleeing from an officer.
