JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – It’s a taste of reality for some high school students … a career reality fair.

They are learning what it’s really like in the adult world before they get there

“This career fair has been great. We’ve been learning a lot about it. How to balance our money, how to save, how to write checks. Being in the real world and being adults,” said Shaddia Lee, a Jackson Public School District student.

The goal of this event is to expose high school students to career possibilities and lifestyle expectations.0

The fair is going on today and Thursday, April 14, 2016, and career fair is called “The Real World.”
