SHARKEY COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A boil water notice was issued for the City of Rolling Fork after an EF4 tornado hit the town on Friday, March 24.

The notice affects 2,685 customers in the city.

According to the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), the system lost pressure due to the storm.

Health officials strongly recommend that all water be boiled vigorously for one minute before it is consumed.

The water system will be notified of the test results.
