At any given time there can be dozens of women who are granted parole but remain in prison because they have no where to go. Without an approved address they cannot be released. But they can be approved for transitional housing, These houses are where women can find a new life once they are no longer behind bars.

I spoke to Vicki and a former inmate who is a part of Crossroad Ministries to discuss life after prison and why they believe prison may not be the best option for many women.
