Cultivation Food Hall puts a spin on the average food court

JACKSON, Miss.(WJTV) – A new spot in the District at Eastover is bringing in people from all over the metro.

The Cultivation Food Hall houses eight boutique restaurants and a lavish bar.

An official with the hall says the space is an area for entrepreneurs to get a head start on their dreams.

“The goal and the premise of this is to give all the local talent, culinary talent, an outlet for their creativity, and so it’s a win-win situation,” Patrick Lazzari explained.

While it may have been the grand opening, folks from different parts of the metro came to enjoy their first Cultivation meal. Many say they believe the hall is going to be the new hot spot for Jackson.

Customer Thomas Townsend said, “Well you know it’s centrally located and it’s something different, which is always something what we’re looking for it seems like.”

“I’ve heard of a few different halls like this, but never been to one, so it’s great Jackson is doing new things that we can see people wanting to invest in the community,” Rex Parker added.
