Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann is working with students at Madison Central High School to make sure they’re prepared for next month’s midterms. During today’s lunch period, students cast mock ballots for the U.S. Senate races and for the U.S. House seats in their district.

The Promote The Vote education project is sponsored by the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office and encourages civic responsibility. The program is aimed at increasing student interest in current issues.

But this isn’t their first stop of the season. Earlier this month, they visited Trentt Lott Academy to #PromotetheVote.
