JACKSON, Miss.(WJTV) – The attorney who orchestrated a multi-billion dollar settlement against the tobacco industry is back for the drug manufacturers and distributors he says are responsible for the opioid epidemic.
In his first national appearance Mike Moore, former Mississippi Attorney General, appeared on 60 minutes saying he feels big industry companies don’t care about the customers being affected by their products.
“I don’t think they cared enough. And if they cared enough, maybe we would not have lost 500,000 lives from this problem… It just… it appalls me.”
