HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Hinds County Tax Collector Eddie Fair announced the penalty waiver period for tags will end on Friday, October 6.
There was a penalty waiver period for August and September registrations and renewals after the county suffered a ransomware attack.
The waiver did not apply to tags that expired prior to August.
