Hub City holds parade to honor Black History Month

People in the Hub City will celebrate black history month with a parade Saturday.

We talked to organizer Derrian Moye about plans for the event.

“So after the parade concludes, we’re going to be here at the park. We’re going to do some kickball, we’re going to be doing some basketball tournaments, horseshoe tournaments, live entertainment, fish fry, beer probably.

The committee will be having a huge picnic for the entire community. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. at Duncan Lake.
