JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Former President Barack Obama selected Jackson as one of three cities across the country to participate in the Change Collective.

The Clarion Ledger reported the initiative aims to invest in and support the next generation of emerging leaders. The City of Jackson will have the opportunity to access training opportunities and leadership development.

The other cities participating in the initiative are Chicago and Detroit. The Change Collective is expected to expand to other locations.
