The big day that many people dread every year, finally came- the last day to file your taxes.
If you waited until today to do it, you were not alone. H & R Block in Jackson saw scores of people coming in at the last minute to handle their business Monday.
Some tax payers say the delay has become routine, which they expect to do every year.
H & R customer Jeremy Nations said “things like, you know, filing your taxes, sometimes get lost in the mix, but I’m glad I made it up here. [It’s better late than never.”
If you still have not filed, you can get an extension to file by until Oct. 15, by submitting a 4868 form with the IRS.
