A “Journey to the North Pole” exhibit, with activities for families, opens in Jackson Tuesday.
The Mississippi Children’s Museum is holding the special, holiday exhibition, featuring a “magical winter village” with lights, train cars, gingerbread house-building and a 45-foot snowflake slide, according to event organizers.
Santa is also coming to take pictures with children.
“Magical” activities kicked off at 9 a.m. and will last until 5 p.m. The museum exhibit at 2145 Museum Blvd. in Jackson will be open through Jan. 6.
Admission to the village is $10 per person.
