JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A man has died after being shot in the chest in Jackson.

The shooting happened in the 5600 block of Gardenia Street on Sunday, October 22.

Officer Sam Brown said the unidentified victim was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest. He said officers are gathering evidence and information about a possible suspect.
