JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on Wednesday, May 10.

The shooting happened around 9:00 a.m. at Pine Ridge Gardens Apartments on Rebel Woods Drive.

Captain Abraham Thompson with the Jackson Police Department (JPD) said there was an ongoing domestic dispute that led to shots being fired at the location. He said a man died at the scene. The victim was identified as 43-year-old Terrance Jones.

Officer Sam Brown said the suspect, 33-year-old William Marshall, was taken to police headquarters to be interviewed.

This is an ongoing investigation.
