Manhunt over in Warren County

Two days after ramming a deputy’s car, two men in Warren County have been arrested and are in custody.

Twenty-two-year-old Zachery Brooks and seventeen-year-old Justin Tilley ran from authorities Sunday night. The two were riding in a gold Buick Century when they were spotted near Halls Ferry and Fisher Ferry Road. Both had felony warrants for their arrest.

When the deputy tried to stop them, they rammed into the cruiser and disappeared into a wooded area on the edges of the Timberlane Community.

An overnight search led to a brief high-speed chase around 4 am when the two were spotted again.

Around 1 p.m. Monday, a tip led deputies to the Magnolia R.V. Camp. Both were arrested, along with two other adults and a minor.

After a day of searching, the two armed and dangerous men have been captured. 

According to Sheriff Martin Pace, 17-year-old Justin Tilley and 22-year-old Zachary Brooks.
