Missing teen found in human trafficking bust

Three citizens of Jackson were arrested for Human Trafficking during an investigation for a missing teenage girl. 

On April 23, 2018, the Hinds County Sherriff’s Office Narcotics Divison found a missing teen during a Human Trafficking investigation. 

The teenage girl was in a local metro hotel engaging in prostitution. 

Investigators identified several individuals who were responsible for the trafficking of the teen. 

29-year-old Edward Williams was arrested last Friday at his home in Jackson. 

28-year-old Charmaine Turner was arrested on Tuesday at her apartment in Jackson.

29-year-old Christopher Griffin  was arrested at a residence in Jackson.

All three are charged with Human Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution, Exploitation of a Minor, and Possession of Child Pornography. 

They are being held at the Raymond Detention Center.
