More than 20,000 pounds of poultry to be donated to Salvation Army

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Companies with the Mississippi Poultry Association are expected to provide more than 20,000 pounds of poultry and eggs on Friday, November 2nd.

Governor Phil Bryant picked the Salvation Army in Jackson to receive the donation.

The organization said some of the donated poultry will be given to non-profits around the Jackson area.

The donation will be made at 11:00 a.m at the Sillers Building in Jackson.
