Central Power customers are also experiencing outages. More than 43,000 people across the state are without power.

Utility providers say do not approach a line if it is on your house or across a driveway. Assume the electricity is hot and call your provider.
Southern Pine says nearly 9-thousand customers in Rankin County are without power following this afternoon’s storms. Lines are downed in Hillsboro, Morton, Shiloh and Rexford.
In the meantime, Entergy is working to assess damage in Vicksburg, Utica, northeast Jackson and Mendenhall. More than 29,000 customers are without power in those areas.
