Protect yourself from cold weather

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Temperatures are in the 30’s today and expected to drop into the 20’s tomorrow.

12’s Shay O’Connor has been out talking to citizens about the record-breaking cold front.

Cederick Harris says, “Here in Mississippi we don’t expect that. The best thing is to protect the pets and bundle up. If you don’t have to be in the weather don’t be in the weather.”

Neal Kiihnl says, “It’s dangerously cold. This is the kind of cold that could kill or hurt people. So I hope people have coats.. or those who need them get one. And those who need warmth can get that and warm food.”
