The American Red Cross and a local Vicksburg church are working together to help people displaced by this weekends tornado.
The First Baptist Church of Vicksburg is open for those who need a place to stay and this is not the first time the church has opened its doors.
Larry Daggett says, “For the most part they are thankful to have a place to stay and very cooperative. Like with Katrina we have them here for so long they started asking for things to do. They helped keep the place clean and picked up and all that… and that would happen with a lot of people they want to do something to help”
Once again the Red Cross Shelter will be at the First Baptist Church of Vicksburg.
It is located on 1607 Cherry Street.
