Smith County tornado damage recovery could take months

Neighborhoods in Smith County are recovering after two tornadoes touched down Thursday.
The National Weather Service reports an EF-0 and EF-1 tornado left power lines down and trees on top of houses.
Officials with the Smith County Emergency Management Agency predict it will take months for everything to go back to normal.
The  Polkville Fire Station has opened as a shelter and will be assisted by the Red Cross. Food is also available.
