Thousands displaced after tornadoes, flooding in Mississippi

Recent Mississippi storms and tornados have taken their toll on people and the Red Cross is jumping in to to fill some gaps, like offering shelter, food and water.

The Red Cross has released a report on its effort to aid those affected and they say the agency is sheltering and feeding people of communities in four counties.

The agency is also providing supplies like hygiene items and cleaning materials.

Property damage is still being assessed and so many people are still displaced from their homes, as a result.
