Johnathan Beach faces two counts of murder for allegedly shooting two off-duty volunteer firemen.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, 31-year-old Troy Whittington and 34-year-old Jason Healey had come to the aid of Ashley Beach at her home when her estranged husband entered with a weapon and started shooting.

Deputies say the woman says game cameras were installed in her house without her knowledge and then removed when she discovered them. The matter was under investigation when a report of shots fired came from the address.

When law enforcement arrived they found 36-year-old Johnathan Beach who was wounded and armed. Johnathan surrendered without incident.

They were told there were two people inside wounded. When they entered the house a witness was performing CPR on one of the men. Deputies relieved the female and began CPR on both subjects until AMR Ambulance arrived. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

They were identified as Whittington and Haley.

Beach was charged and booked into the Adams County where he remains in custody.
