Local News

UPDATE: 8:06 p.m. 1/6/2019

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV)– We’re getting an update from the Jackson Police Department on the grocery store fight. They say no arrests were made because the involved parties left before JPD got there. When asked if Food Depot wanted to press charges, that information wasn’t available through police. JPD Spokesman Sgt. Roderick Holmes does not recognize the officer seen in the photo or in the video breaking up the brawl as a JPD officer. The Food Depot owner wasn’t in Sunday. WJTV 12 is hoping to get more answers on Monday.
