Students from Wingfield High School in Jackson will donate vegetables to the Jackson Zoo on Tuesday, November 20th.
The vegetables were grown on the Wingfield campus as part of their Natural Resources Utilization Academy. The academy consists of students wishing to pursue a degree involving the country’s natural resources such as agriculture, horticulture, animal science and more.
The donation will be given to the zoo at noon.
The students are donating different types of kale, lettuce, broccoli and collard greens.
