Making your weekend grocery run? Pick up a few extra things while you’re there and help make a happier Thanksgiving for those in need. WJTV 12 and the Mississippi Food Network are collecting food at four Kroger locations today. Here is a list of things to choose from. Just one or two cans can make the all the difference, not just for Thanksgiving but all year long!

⦁ Canned Meats: Ham, tuna, chili, beef stew, spam, chicken, Vienna sausage, chicken & dumplings
⦁ Peanut Butter
⦁ Canned fruit, regular lite
⦁ Canned vegetables
⦁ Cranberry sauce
⦁ Canned soups
⦁ Boxed stuffing mix
⦁ Boxed mashed or scalloped potatoes
⦁ Boxed macaroni & cheese
⦁ Ramen Noodles
WJTV is holding its annual Thanksgiving food drive at Kroger locations in the Jackson metro.
WJTV is partnering with UPS Inc. and iHeart Radio for this year’s food drive. Donations will go to the Mississippi Food Network.
Members of the WJTV Team will be at four Kroger locations. They are located at Interstate 55 in Jackson, Colony Crossing Way in Madison, U.S. 80 East in Clinton and Fresh and Friendly Drive in Flowood.
Donations will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
