HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WHLT) – National Night Out Against Crime has become a popular event in the Pine Belt.
This Tuesday, October 5, 2015, a couple of communities are being asked to come out and mingle with neighbors and law enforcement.
Seminary Police Department will host Night Out Against Crime activities on the campus of Seminary Baptist Church.
The event starts at 7 p.m. Citizens are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Activities include a super hero costume contest, pony rides, and much more.
Laurel Police Department will host Night Out Against Crime at Mason Park.
The event will kick off at 5 p.m. There will be free food, music, and school supplies for everyone.
