Jackson State awarded $950K from National Science Foundation


JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The National Science Foundation has awarded $954,604 to Jackson State University to support low-income students pursuing master’s degrees in engineering, computer science, mathematics and data science.

The project, entitled “Collaborative Research: Improving Access to Career and Educational Development for Talented, Low-Income Students through the Flexible Internships-Research-Education Model,” will support approximately 220 students.
