BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon leaders said there has been a major water leak on Crossgates Drive near the Timbers Subdivision.
They said the leak has caused lower than normal water pressure in the Crossgates Subdivision. Crews responded to the area Monday morning to evaluate the leak and determine repairs.
Leaders said the leak was isolated and most customers in the affected area should see a return to normal pressure.
A loss of water service will be experienced by the following addresses: 21-41 Crossgates Drive (Crossgates Boulevard to Terrapin Hill Road South area).
A boil water notice was issued for 18-30 Crossgates Drive due to the water leak. The notice affects 20 customers.
Customers are encouraged to boil their water for one minute before consuming it. They will be notified when the water is safe to drink.
