JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — The man who was found dead in a Canton home where a missing teenager was discovered died from natural causes, according to police.

According to Canton Police Chief Otha Brown, the autopsy results revealed that James E. Black was dead for at least three days before his body was found.

Black’s body was found after a teen was seen screaming and running from a home Martin Luther King Drive in Canton on December 9.

The teen’s mother reported her missing days before this incident.

She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.

We’re told she knew Black. The investigation is still ongoing.
