Man pleads guilty to interstate travel in aid of drug trafficking activity

GULFPORT, MS – A 29-year-old man has pled guilty to interstate travel in aid of drug trafficking activity.

According to U. S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis and DEA Special Agent in Charge Keith Brown, Jywaun Davis Williams, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, was pulled over and charged during a traffic stop on I-10 in Gulfport, MS in April, 2014.

He faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison and could pay a $250,000 fine. He is expected to be sentenced on October 22, 2015.
