McComb PD investigates credit card fraud case

MCCOMB, Miss. (WJTV) — McComb Police are investigating a credit card fraud case; the victim is from Gulfport.

Police said the suspects were seen on surveillance video on August 14 swiping several credit cards to purchase Walmart gift cards at the McComb location. The purchases added up to about $1,950.

When the victim discovered his card was used in McComb, he notified Walmart of the suspicious activity. The victim told police he does not know how the suspects got his credit card information.

Police said the first suspect is described as a white male wearing a black ball cap, gray short sleeve shirt and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a male wearing a black ball cap, a blue long  sleeve button up shirt and dark color pants.

The other credit card victims are being contacted to verify stolen identities.
