JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — A Jackson Public Schools administrators surprised a Power APAC teacher with its Teacher of the Year Award.
Interim Superintendent Dr. Freddrick Murray presented Malaika Quarteman with the award.
She will be considered with other outstanding teachers across the state for the Mississippi Teacher of the Year.
