PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) — Some drivers reported to police that their cars had been hit by rocks passing through Pearl on I-20.
The police department posted a statement about the investigation on its Facebook page.
Officers said the vehicles had been struck with rocks on I-20 East between mile marker 50 and mile marker 51.
Pearl Police said they had six reported cases between January 7 and January 20. In two of these incidents, the victims waited two days after their vehicles were hit before reporting it.
No injuries or accidents resulted in these incidents.
Officers said the cases had been assigned to investigators and they are working to process evidence left behind at the scene as well as following up on tips of persons involved with these cases.
Pearl Police said residents should remember if you see something, to say something.
