CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi State Department of Health said a boil water notice has been issued for the Pattison Water Association in Claiborne County. The alert affects 2,993 customers.
Water system officials said the system lost pressure because of a power outages caused by a storm on Thursday.
Health officials recommend that all water be boiled for one minute before it is consumed. The water system will be notified when tests show that the water is safe to drink.
