MSU forward Anriel Howard was drafted by the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Draft.
Howard was the 24th overall pick and becomes the second Bulldog drafted after former teammate Teaira McCowan was drafted third overall to the Indiana Fever.
The 5’11 Howard averaged career highs in points and field goal percentage this season for MSU, scoring 16.4 points per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.
Howard also averaged 8.4 rebounds per game, finished with a dozen double-doubles and scored in double figures 30 times.
Howard was an 2018-19 AP All-American Honorable Mention.
