NWS: EF-3 tornado hit northern Walthall County on Easter


SARTINVILLE, Miss. (WHLT) – The National Weather Service said the tornado that hit Sartinville in Walthall County on Sunday has been upgraded to an EF-3 after new survey information.

Officials said winds from the storm peaked at 150 miles per hour around James Ratcliff Road. The tornado was 0.67 miles wide.
