Ole Miss will play in the SEC Championship Game for the first time since 2008.

The Rebels edged Texas A&M 2-1 on Saturday to advance to their fIfth title game. They will LSU on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Cole Zabowski and Will Golsan came through for Ole Miss, bringing in its only two runs in the fourth inning. Those were enough for freshman Jordan Fowler. He threw six innings of scoreless baseball, giving up just six hits. He had plenty of help from his defense.

In the eighth inning, Texas A&M started threatening. The Aggie scored one run before loading the bases. Will Ethridge worked out of the jam, getting a strikeout to go to the ninth.

Ethridge closed things down in the ninth to send the Rebels to the final of the SEC Tournament. They have won three straight games in Hoover.
