A sinkhole has developed in the IHOP parking lot in Meridian.
We’re told at least seven vehicles were swallowed by the sinkhole Saturday evening.
We spoke to a customer and he says the whole front row on the left fell under at least 20 feet.
He also tells us they were sitting inside when the power went out and the restaurant started shaking and there was talk of an earthquake.
This is the new IHOP restaurant on Frontage Road that opened this week.
No injuries have been reported at this time
