Special Olympics MS charity softball game to kick off August 21, 2015

JACKSON, MS – The 2015 “Hit a Home Run for Special Olympics” charity softball game is happening this Friday.

Several prominent Mississippians will be involved, including Brett and Deanna Favre, Gov. Phil Bryant, WJTV’s Byron Brown, Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco and many more.

The game will kick off on August 21, 2015 at Trustmark Park at 5PM.

The game occurs the day before the opening ceremony for the Special Olympics Mississippi 2015 Softball Tournament, which will take place at 9AM on August 22, 2015 in Ridgeland, MS at Freedom Ridge Park.

Tickets are available for purchase at www.specialolympicsms.org/homerun. The proceeds will go to help the efforts of the Special Olympics Mississippi.
