Reward offered in George county inmate escape

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 for any information regarding escaped state inmate Eugene Robinson, who has been missing since Saturday.
Robinson, 37, fled the George County Regional Correctional Facility in Lucedale about 7 p.m. after tying up an officer and stealing the officer’s champagne 2000 GMC Sonoma truck with Greene County license plate GF7 315.
Robinson, is a black male serving a total of 30 years for armed robbery in Choctaw County and burglary in Oktibbeha County.  He has been in prison since 2003.
He stands 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has multiple tattoos, including on his arms, chest, and back.
