Trump Administration open to allowing some prescription drugs from Canada


WASHINGTON (WJTV/CBS)- With the prices for prescription drugs going up, the Trump Administration is clearing the way to import cheaper prescription drugs from Canada. It’s still a long road before you could start getting relief.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced states, wholesalers and pharmacies can now submit plans on how they would import certain drugs from Canada that are versions of FDA-approved drugs.
