UPDATE: Numerous Crimestoppers tips lead to the arrest of the man accused of stealing a firearm from a Vicksburg pawn shop.

Marino Jennings was arrested in Claiborne County around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

He has since been transported to the Vicksburg Police Department.

Jennings is charged with theft of a firearm and a felon in possession of a firearm.

The unidentified female related to the theft was identified.

She has not been charged as an accomplice at this time.

The stolen firearm has been recovered.

VICKSBURG, Miss. (WJTV) — Vicksburg Police are trying to identify two people who were allegedly involved in a pawn shop theft.

According to police, someone stole a gun from the Top Dollar Pawn Shop on last Thursday.

They said a man reached behind the counter and stole a gun while the owner was distracted.

Police said they are looking for the two people seen in the surveillance photos above.

A Glock G22 .22 caliber with the serial number of AALZ27 was stolen.
