VICKSBURG, MS – One person has been arrested after shooting into a vehicle.
On Sunday, July 12, 2015, Vicksburg police responded to a call of a shooting at the 100 block of Wabash Street Vicksburg, MS regarding a shooting.
According to an official release, the victims say “they were driving North on Mission 66 when they were approached by a vehicle.” Words were exchanged and the victims were fired upon. Their vehicle was hit “at least three times by bullets from a large caliber weapon.” No injuries have been reported.
On July 15, 2015, police arrested 21-year-old Teremiah Cox his residence. He was placed into custody on a felony warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle.
He is being held in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility and is expected make an initial court appearance on July 17, 2015.
