JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Volunteers spent Earth Day working on a house for a Habitat for Humanity family.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi Habitat home is located on Smith Robinson Street in Jackson.
Volunteers gathered at the site and helped build the framework.
The home will go to Bonita Johnson and her family. The expected to be completed with the work by June.
Bonita and her three boys pledged to keep the home tobacco free.
