JACKSON, Miss. – A woman is arrested after police say she allegedly robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon.

On May 19, 2015, police responded to a call of a bank robbery at the Regions Bank at 1455 Jacksonian Plaza. Upon arrival, the officer was told that a black female, later identified as 40-year-old Latina M. Younger, walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money after having the teller look up her account.

Younger was given some money by the teller and was described as wearing a “black dress, green lipstick, green necklace and a green bracelet.” She fled south on foot, but was found at the Venture Car Wash 4782 I055 N. Jackson, MS.

At the time of arrest, Younger had removed the green bracelet but was still wearing the black dress and had put an undisclosed amount of money in her purse. She was taken to headquarters to be interviewed and charged with Bank robbery.
