Madison Central overcomes adversity on way to first title appearance since 1999

The O.T.

MADISON, Miss. (WJTV) — Madison Central lost star QB Vic Sutton and star RB Robert Dumas in back-to-back weeks this postseason. Head coach Toby Collums’ squad didn’t flinch. The next man up mentality propelled the Jaguars past Oxford and Starkville and into the 6A state championship game for the first time since 1999. Madison Central will face Brandon for the trophy Friday night at Southern Miss.
