D.D. Bowie leaves Ole Miss football

OXFORD, Miss. (WJTV) – Ole Miss comes into this season with many questions on defense, and before the season starts, the Rebels are down a defensive back due to the transfer of D.D. Bowie.

The school announced the Morton native was leaving the program for personal reasons.

It was later reported Bowie is going to transfer to Northeast Mississippi Community College.

Coming out of high school in 2017, Bowie was the third-ranked player in the state of Mississippi. He played in six games with Ole Miss last year, finishing with six total tackles.
