Former Canton standout Javian Davis transferring to Mississippi State

CANTON, Miss. (WJTV) — Former Canton standout Javian Davis announced Monday he’s “coming home”.

The redshirt sophomore is transferring to Mississippi State, after two years at Alabama. The six-foot-nine forward started 14 games last season for the Crimson Tide, averaging 6 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest. Davis scored a career high 20 points against South Carolina in his final start of the season.
