OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi State recruiting class of 2019 is on pace to do something under Joe Moorhead that was never achieved under Dan Mullen, and that’s finish in the top 15, and possibly the top 10.
According to 247Sports, the Bulldogs are currently ranked 10th.
One of their most recent commits is St. Martin offensive lineman Brandon Cunningham.
Cunningham flipped his commitment from Miami to the Bulldogs last week.
The 6’5, 305 pounder says the quality of players in his home state goes overlooked.
“Mississippi is not a highly-recruited bed. You see all these boys from Florida, Texas, they get recruited, but we the most slept on state and i feel like we shouldn’t be underrated because on the charts, we produce athletes,” Cunningham said. “Cam Akers right now, he’s crushing it at Florida State right now. Mississippi made and stuff like that. i just wanna put on for my state.”
